Today I got up early to workout because we had a mandatory security check at a specific time, ours being 9:15. Apparently we had to show our passports and get them stamped before we can get off the ship in Bora Bora.

With the security check over, we headed up to the walking deck and did 45 minutes of maximum speed walking in 82˚. We came back to our room to cool off a bit before heading out for smoothies and poolside. The smoothies were tasty. Linda struggled to stay out in the sun for an hour and I managed an hour and a half. We don't know how some of those people can lie out all day long - it's too hot.

While we were out on deck, a country fair was going on all around us. People were trying to win at miscellaneous games like "Guess Where I'm From" and others to win raffle tickets for prizes. There were some good prizes like discounts at Canyon Ranch and free massages all here on ship board. They had the deck decorated with International flags.

Linda's last Thai Massage is today at 4:30. I know she will love it as they've all been the highlight of that particular sea day.

We're back in the room cooling down before we go to the gym to finish our workouts.

The seas have been the calmest so far, just rolling swells.

We're looking forward to snorkeling in Bora Bora and then having some time to shop and or look around before having to be back on shipboard. We snorkel in the coral reefs off shore and must take a boat out to the location. Hopefully we'll have some good pictures from that excursion. We will anchor out 5 minutes from the wharf as the water is too shallow, so we'll be taking in a tender.

We have dinner reservations for 7:30 at Toscana, the Italian speciality restaurant. It was the first specialty restaurant we dined in. Although it was not a favorite, we know more now and may make better choices.

We're both running out of vitamin pills so we know the end is near. I dread having to pack again but assume it will be easier since all the clothes are here and out.

Just a footnote, I'm back from my Thai massage - can you say heavenly?  We're enjoying a mocha cappuccino and our canapes on the veranda watching the sunset.
