Kota Bharu to Jerantut (the gateway to Taman Negara) was 10hrs by jungle train, leaving at 06:00hrs in the morning and arriving in Jerantut after stopping at every single station on its way at 16:00hrs. It was cheap though at $3 each we couldn,t complain, especially as it cut through the jungle over man made bridges and tunnels.
