I realized that I forgot to talk about a very big event that happened to me while I was in London two Saturdays ago in my last blog.  I met the little girl (Abigail Breslin) that stars in the movie Little Miss Sunshine. She's also Mel Gibson's daughter in Signs and I'm sure she's in a lot more too, but I'm too lazy to look that up right now. So this is how it happened:

My program group visited the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are kept. Two friends and I had just been through that exhibit, and needed to use the bathroom. There happened to be a bathroom right outside of the exhibit. (Ok, I am getting to a point here and it isn't going to be about poop or anything gross like that) So we went in, did our thing, and I was standing by the hair towels while I was waiting for the other two girls to get out of the toilets. To my right was this young girl washing her hands with lots of soap. I thought she looked like Little Miss Sunshine, but I was unsure so I looked at her again. She looked at me, a little awkwardly because I was staring, and smiled. Then I knew it was her! But I still felt I needed to ask so I said, "Are you in the movie Little Miss Sunshine?"

She smiled, giggled a little, and said, "Yes."

Then I freaked out a little, and I think I grabbed her arm while she was washing her hands. I said, "I love that movie! You are so amazing in it!"

Abigail smiled again, and said "Thanks."

I said, " Do you mind if I'd get a picture with you?"

She said that'd be fine, and I wished her luck at the Oscars. (You guys will have to let me know how she does cuz I doubt I'll be able to watch it here.)

Then her mom must've come out of the toilets as well because she was washing her hands too. I said, "So I'll meet you outside?"

And her mom said, "Oh yes please. No need to take photos in here. I can just imagine the tabloids!"

I laughed and my two friends and I stood outside the restrooms, waiting for Abigail. She came out, and I asked her why she was in England. She said something about Bath or Bathes or something. I wasn't really sure, but when I was telling my landlady the story that night, she said Abigail must've said the Bathda's, which is like the British version of the Oscars, and I said ooooohhhh ok. And she was right because we saw Abigail the next night on the telly.

So I got a photo with Abigail Breslin. She was very kind and she spoke in that cute, little voice of hers the whole time. We didn't have a life changing conversation or anything, but I was completely in awe and shock to have randomly met a star in the loo. Anything can happen in England I guess! And remember, nothing is impossible. Here is the photo of us:
