We landed in Houston at 1:00AM local time, after huge delay in MIA. Apparently, American Airlines attendants, who supposed to work on this flight, somehow mysteriously gone missing.... sounds like an episode of X-FILES.

Tired and exhausted... I am driving around looking for the hotel. I feel like a new clown just joined the circus. Lost and confused in a big strange place... running around on Houston's outer loop road like clowns in the circus ring...

This place is big... but don't worry hotel staff helps with the directions. At last, we can now rest our eyes. This is almost as bad as running characters in Japan, but we are here for an adventure in the big Texas!!!

After a few hours of rest, we are ready to explore. Everything here is big and spreadout... to go from one place to another seems to take forever. Saturday's traffic is congested. This is the best way to get to know the city? We don't think so, but after spending quarter of our time in traffic get to know how crazy people drive here. What a gem! 59 highway, runs north and south through Houston, is jam packed. "Road works" 6 lanes of traffic reduced into one. There are no patient drivers around. Making us feel like we are stuck in the L.A. traffic jam. Enough to get anyone there going POSTAL!

We are heading to the museum district of Houston. This would be interesting....and it is. Some of the surrounding neighborhoods are quaint and interesting. The Museum of Fine Arts (MFAH)is worth a visit. We definitely like their Express Cafe. Food is good and fresh. Thumbs up for us. Next, we are hopping over to Rothko Chapel. If this structure is a place for peace...prayer... then we all have a problem. It is dark and more scary than peaceful, to say the least... It is dark and rainy outside. We come to the conclusion that the crazy Brit brings the wonderful weather with him wherever he goes....

By the end of this day we know our way around, but you know how things go. It is time for us to leave. Too much to see too little time.
