Caught up with my brother, Richard, and his family in the lovely little town of Tommerup (on Fyn).  Didn't have the greatest start unfortunately as my back was giving me a lot of grief and I had way too much luggage (camera, laptop, tripod, pressies, sleeping bag etc...).  I had a ripper of a headache and wasn't in the super cheerful mood I'd hoped to be in to meet my brother after having not seen him for 2 or 3 years.  Well, things improved and my aches and pains sorted themselves out pretty quickly.

Was a busy week in the Kelly / Jacobson household with two of my nephews having birthdays (Lucas on the 11 November and Ben on the 12 November).  Had 3 family dinners planned at the house that week so there was a lot of eating and celebrating.  Ben and Oliver are pretty big on their Waterpolo and were out most of the time.  Ulla was working in Odense most days.  Basically a very busy family week - but hey, that's just family life these days - super busy!!  Managed to go out with Richard to watch the World Cup Rugby at an Irish pub in Odense.  Had a great night not least because the Australians won the first match (against England) and the Kiwis won the second (against Ireland).

Teary goodbyes at Tommerup train station - Lucas was having a particularly bad day.  My train was late and I ended up waiting on the platform for about 40 mins - not fun when it must have been below zero that morning and I'm not really geared up for that sort of temperature.  Anyway, I was very relieved to make the train to Copenhagen since I thought I'd missed the connection at Odense.
