Dinner at Boat Quay was one of those excellent times that you never forget - magical. Then we went for drinks at Harry's Bar and got talking to boring bloke from Surrey....yawn. The next day was a real busy one. We dumped our bags at the airport then visited the Changi Museum. Thats wre they kept allied POW's in WWII - quite moving. Then a stroll round Chinatown then off to Raffles for a very expensive "high tea" in the Tiffin Room. Then its back to the airport for our flight to Darwin.

Arrived 4.30am and came into town for breakfast at the all night cafe.  The hostel here is great and right on the end of the main street so not too far to go for shopping and drinkies.  Hired a car right away and went off to Litchfield National Park yesterday.  Really fabulous scenery and places to swim, although we didn't go in the water.  Just my luck a croc would chew my leg off and I'm not insured for it.  Was very tempting though as it has been 42 degrees here.  Been driving around Darwin today visiting museums and picnicking by the lake.  Even paddled in the pacific.  There's no swimming in the sea here as if the crocs don't get you the jellyfish will.  Tomorrow we may do another trip down the Stuart Highway and we've still to see the old gaol.  Monday we're off to the Red Centre bright and early (Alice Springs) and what will no doubt be a fantastic trip to Ayers Rock.  Catch up with you all then.

Hiya
Hi Phill & Tracy, looks great. Pleased you are having fun. We were just chatting about you Guys on Monday. Look forward to seeing you both here in wonderful NZ. Weather is getting better, had our first BBQ last night, smashing super. Hey, you know Dixiegirls comment? You would have thought after writing her comments out three times she could have put an A after 'having' on the first line. LOL.
Got to dash. Look forward to seeing you both soon. Have a good flight over. Si, Ja & Con.
