Palestine and Israel

Our first evening was spent in Ramala, Palestine (West Bank), with the grandmother of my friend Anmar. It takes much of the day to clear through the Israeli border crossing to enter into Palestine. On the way into Ramala, we got a pretty good view of the new wall the Israelis are building in accordance with their policy of disengagement. Israel's intention is to completely withdraw from the West Bank, leaving Palestinians behind the wall like in Gaza. Of course, Palestinians hate the wall and have already attacked it in places and are painting it with political graffiti.
