Mohammad, Fadi, their friend Bud, and I went to Wadi Rum to camp for the night. It is a protected area, so you can't sleep there without spending a lot of money generally, but Fadi knows a desert Bedouin in the village. The Bedoo took us out into the middle of the desert, like when my friend Steve was visiting from England. We arrived at the camp site at about midnight, set up the tent and built a fire. In the morning we got to watch the sun rise over the desert. We left by 10 because the desert heat is overwhelming. Enjoy the pics.
