Tomorrow, Thursday, is the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad and a holiday, making this a long weekend. Irene and I decided to use it to travel to Egypt. After work we left for the airport and took a short flight to Cairo. We cabbed to several hotels and decided they were pretty gross looking, so we settled on the Nile Hilton Hotel which is a little older, but still elegant. We didn't get here till about midnight and we are quite tired, but the next three days promises to be a great adventure!
