It has been a long couple of weeks. Dad's funeral was exactly a week ago and now I am getting on a plane to Jordan. One door closed and another door opened. My best friends Christine Jones and Christopher Langford took me to the airport where we had a last couple of pints at the Elephant and Castle before I got on the plane.
Chris's Mom, Jill, sent this to me:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the gentle autumnal rain.
When you wake in the morning hush.
I am the soft uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in gentle flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
Anon.

I am the sunlight on riped grain.I am the gentle autumnal rain.

I am the soft uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in gentle flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
