After leaving Malawi we had 3 days to get to Livingstone with nothing much in between. Most of the time on the truck is either spent sleeping, listening to music, or playing cards. On the second night we stopped off in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia. Looking for a little adventure and wanting to do something on my own I stayed in the city while the rest of the group went off to the campsite. Unfortunately there wasn't anything adventurous to do in Lusaka other than go see a movie (Die Hard 4) and attempt to go to a local bar that is listed in Lonely Planet (1 person inside the bar at 9 P.M. so back to the campsite for me).
The next day we headed to Livingstone, which is the town on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. Our one and only purpose for going to Livingstone was to take a Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River, a.k.a. the "Booze Cruise". The cruise is a two and a half hour all you can drink affair for $35. Since there were only a few days left on the trip everyone just let loose, some more than others! As you can see by the photos some people don't know how to handle there liquor, and these were the tame pictures that I decided to upload!
