Jerusalem is an amazing city and has a rich history.  The city is overwhelming with historical sites, museums, etc.  I spent a week here (although I went back to Tel Aviv for 2 days of partying) and did not have enough time to see everything.

The main part of my trip focused on the Old City.  My two favorite visits were to the Western Wall and doing the walk Jesus made before he was crucified (Stations of the Cross).

One day, I took a break and hung out at cafes in the German neighborhood of Israel and met a really nice New Yorker that lives 50% in Jerusalem and 50% in New York.  He had an extra ticket to a comedy show so we went to an amazing comedy show benefiting The Koby Mandell Foundation (dedicated to helping bereaved families heal from terror and other tragedies).  Koby Mandell was 13 and stoned to death while hiking 1/2 a mile from his home.  So heartbreaking.
