Sunday was our final day in Colorado Springs. I had spent the two previous days helping Mom & Dad get their house ready to go on the market. They have decided to downsize and are purchasing a condo in Denver that is being developed by a company called
Erickson. It looks like a great place and I hope they enjoy it. Since I had the jobs that I'd volunteered to do completed, Deb & I went to the
Colorado Springs Fine Art Center to see their collection of Chihuly glass. As I mentioned earlier, Deb & I really enjoy some of the art glass that is being done now. We saw the Fine Art Center's collection last year when we were here and wanted to see it again before leaving. The exhibit had been rearranged since last year, but was still stunningly lit, showing off the amazing color and shapes of the baskets, sea forms, and chandeliers.

After wandering through the museum, we went on to Mom & Dad's for one last visit before hitting the road again.
