A cab ride away from SeaTac, a couple of hours in a plastic chair and then nine more in the air. Then an hour to get from Heathrow's Terminal 4 to Terminal 5 (the new British Airways embarkation point for lost luggage) and then about three hours to Athens, landing me 10 hours ahead of PDT.
However, I am not packed yet.
I dedicate this log to my mother, Lynnabeth, as a daily diversion from the dismal demands of that damned disease.
(My son went to Greece and all I got was this lousy multiple myeloma.)
Until Athens,

Bon Voyage!
Happy Travels to my Happy Wanderer.
(I also pre-rated this blog an impressive 5 stars to really jump-start the whole 'Peyton is a travel god' thing. C'mon everybody, join in! Let's give Mays some rock-star status.)
Love,

The World is a book...
I feel for those who don't travel. Your accounts are so fun to read. I know first hand how traveling with you can be so amazing. Every moment can be odd, problematic and yet so absolutely wonderful. We can't change our passions or our nature, can we? I will go over this trip with you in person. And I can't wait. I love you, Darling!
