The previous night we saw guys in the elevators on their way back from Dinner. Several of them were holding Atlantis souvenir coasters. No one mentioned them - but I recognized them immediately. There were simple leather circles with the logo and trip info stamped into them. A stack of 4 tied with twine. I'd seen these many times before. They were the original standard trip gift. And they had been resurrected for the 15th Anniversary (Infinity) cruise. In that cruise they were distributed at dinner in the formal dining room. Assumed the same this time. Trouble was - we never eat there.

So this morning I went to the Atlantis desk to beg a set - and was happy to see them laying out in typical "help yourself" fashion. I added two sets to my collection.

The early afternoon was dedicated to my new tradition of Drag Queen Bingo - hosted by Miss R and newcomer Sherry Vine. This time I splurged and paid the upgrade fee for the electronic version that you just watch. If was $55 instead of $35 for paper, but you almost 4 times as many.  Plus it made it less hectic and easier to focus on the banter.

End up being the largest turn out ever (assisted by the rain we where trying to sail out of by tea). There were 4 games played.  Each had a jackpot over $1,000.  Final one was over $2500!

I got close enough to stand once (meaning I was 1 ball away from a win). But that was it. No win. And no assistant there to disrobe for each bingo blunder. Was still fun - but a little stripping always softens the losing streak.

"Final Rinse" T-dance was held in Aqua (we had made it out of the rain), but it was still windy and cold. Enjoyed the music and the beach-related costumes (suffice it to say that the inflatable beach toys were in FULL force). The jumbotrons were again in  operation and flashing the camera became the new way to get remembered (though I suspect the RCCL staff was beginning to get worried that they had strayed too far from normalcy - task accomplished?).

We decided to eat in a specialty restaurant.  But the online system showed everything was fully booked. Decided to take our chances walking in and eventually settled on Rita's Cantina - which is right off the Aqua Theater.  It has a menu and ambiance similar to Chili's. We ate nachos and enchiladas as the rain returned out on the Boardwalk.

Back in the room we finished packing and then I took the new camera out for a final photo expedition. The ship was, as usually is the case, mostly empty. The rain had stopped, but it left the outside decks looking like the entire ship had been hosed down after and scrubbed of our visit. Was great photo taking, but the mood was rather somber. It was over. After months and months of preparation and untold anticipation, we were ready to leave and the ship was ready to move on to the next round of guests.

"The Last Laugh" was with Shawn Pelofsky, and had original been scheduled for Aqua. But the rain caused it to me moved to Studio B, so I decided to skip it and get some much needed sleep.
