Tuesday. After a hot day of cycling 53 miles we have crossed over the border and are staying just inside Cambodia. We said goodbye to our Thai guides who have been brilliant and will meet new Cambodian ones tomorrow.
Already the road surfaces have changed and we can expect more in the way of mountain biking and dirt tracks. Cambodia is significantly poorer than Thailand which is quite obvious.
Thailand borders Burma but we have experienced nothing of the Cyclone which has hit it so badly. In fact we only knew of it through contact with people at home, though I believe Thailand has been providing some aid.
Tomorrow ( Wednesday) could be the most challenging so far given the terrain
and weather conditions so I'll be sure to get a good night's sleep.

Another day, another country...
Wow, you're certainly covering the miles. Keep it up. Are you feeling (a) fitter (b) tireder or (c) too excited to care? T.
Keep an eye open for the cyclops
Peter if you are confronted with the cyclops just stab him in the eye with a blunt stick. If he seems friendly you may wish to offer him a cup of tea Peter Delves. You sound to be bearing up well hope everything continues to go ok, and well done for doing this for such a worthy cause.
Love from Mary, and a strong hand shake from Andy
Re: Another day, another country...
The answer to that question is all three! I'm also feelin cleaner today after the first proper shower for two days. Just as well I've been this far away.
Re: Keep an eye open for the cyclops
It's the snakes and mosquitos I have to worry about. Almost cycled into the rear end of a cow today too. All the bodies on the floor sleeping in the temple last night was just like old times!
