Tha Ton hilltribe village in the middle of nowhere - 3 tribes - the Karen long necks, those with big ears and those with black teeth. All immigrants from Burma/China. Living on someones land so they are not allowed to leave without permission from the police. They seemed very happy and smiley though. We bought some bangles and a shawl from them.

Blimey the long necks have bronze wire wrapped around their neck from the age of 5 - it can weigh up to 5 kilos - well heavy. Originally to stop tigers biting the women's necks while the men were out hunting but also now for beauty. About twice as long as my neck!! (Would be helpful at a gig!)
