Time to head back to Sydney from Hervey Bay airport. We woke up at 6.00 to have time to eat breakfast and transfer to mainland from Fraser Island. The morning was really hot and we enjoyed the last sea breese of the fraser coast. We decided to take the taxi from the harbour instead of waiting for tha buss. It was too hot... taxi driver told us that this was a "cold summer" - 30 something. At the airport we read books and listened to music while waiting for our flight. Up in the air we got the last chance to see the lakes of Fraser that we couldn't get to, we'll be back. Arriving at Sydney the weather was cloudy, when we stepped out from the taxi it started raining. Later on we went out in the neighbourhood of Abbotsford, went to this tiny Italian restaurant. The food and service was really good.
