We decided to get on a city bus tour which gave us all afternoon on a hop on hop off bus, this also gave us ferry tickets to Granville Island and also an hour long tour around Stanley park. It was sposed to be easy to hop on and off but after one hop off it took nearly 3/4 of an hour wait for the next bus which took huge amount out of our day.
The little ferry to Granville Island was really cute and took less than 5 minutes to get across to the island which isn't actually an island at all, its connected to the mainland and you can drive to it. It had a cool market only bought a punnet of raspberries and a piece of cake, everything else was nice but pricey.
Back onto the city tour bus and continued our trip through the city - gave us a good overview of the city and some really seedy bits that I was pleased we were on the bus and hadn't accidently wandered into - streets and streets chocka of homeless people and obvious drug addicts - lots of policeman there as well!
Canadians really do say owwt instead of out haven't really noticed any ayes but then maybe we wouldn't notice as we say it as well.
So we then went and found another Best Western in another part of the city close to an attraction we want to do in the morning. Found a lovely italian restaurant for dinner and over ate yet again...terrible habit we have got into, eating late and too much!
