Saturday 18-08

At 7:45 we were buying the tickets at we got them!! At the same time you won while playing 'Bingo' :-))
We return to the hotel to try to sleep a bit more.

After that, we walked through Novosibirsk, a big city completely different from Moscow and Tomsk, with modern and high buildings. My opinion is that, if you have enough time, it is a good place to stop in order to see the contrast with Moscow and Tomsk.

We saw an orthodox church and a boy told us lots of thing about his religion, very interesting.

At 19.00 we return to the hotel to get our luggage and to go to the train station.
We left Novosibirsk at 22.30 pm local tour (3 hours more than Moscow time).
The train, in general, was older.

Sunday 19-08

The train is full of tourist people (most of them solo travellers) but with so many empty rooms ... I cannot understand why we couldn't get a ticket from Irkust to Ulaanbaatar none of the days ...

It was a worried day, the only interesting thing was the food we bought during the stops.

and the people we could see in the train stations:

Monday 20-08

At 8.30 am Fernando woke up to see Lake Baikal while it was raining outside the train. An enormous lake with no end.

I returned to bed because I was really tired and at 11.30 am I open my eyes.

We met Janelise!!! And we had lunch meet solianka, a soup made of lemon, meat, mayonnaise, olives, vinegar cucumber and onion with her. It can sound strange but it was delicious!

After having lunch we spent the time looking through the window the last landscapes before arriving at the frontier.

When we arrived at the frontier we could went out of the train during 2 hours. Our wagon was separated from the rest to check all the rooms ... well we cross our fingers and we decided to walk to see the village.

Then we had to go into the train and during 3 hours more, we were waiting but we arrived at the Mongolian frontier and other 2 hours more to wait ...

Finally, after 7 hours waiting, we were in Mongolia!!!!!!!!!!
