I spend a full day well from 9.30am till 6.30pm slogging it out on secret Penny's business, still feeling rather overwhelmed by it all, don't leave the building not even for lunch, they feed us here to keep us working, kinda like the mouse and cheese theory.

After work I head into Holborn to catch up with Nick.  Nick chooses a crazy pre-dinner drinks place called Solastro.  This place looks like it has been decorated by someone on acid.  I ask for a Vodka, Lemon, Lime and Bitters and they look at me like Im crazy, I settle for Vodka and Cranberry juice and then spy a platform in the sky (or Turrett as I refer to it) and ask if I can sit up there and wait for Nick.  I climb the stairs and wait, I feel like Repunzel.

Nick walks in he's cut his hair, lost weight but still is the same cheeky bugger.  We tell totally inappropriate stories and then head off for Japanese. Its super yummy we share of course my choices are better than his, he tempura'd the whole part of his order.  Some plumb wine with my order then to an underground bar for another drink.  Is there a theme going on here?

Since I had checked out the hotel as prices were too high to extend... ahhh the Tune Hotels concept pay by demand, I am staying in a Youth Hostel the night, it has just opened 6 days ago and smells of paint and has a lot of building dust around.  The night is broken with a burst water pipe, thankfully not in my room, they are mixed dorms and of course we have a snoorer.

I have decided I am sleeping at Stanstead airport on Wednesday night as my flight is at 7am, check in is from 4am.  It will save me money and the hassel of getting up at 3am in the morning to take an hour train to the airport.... wise choice, you be the judge.

Wish you were here....
