Having reflected upon how much we'd enjoyed the premiere, how we would never be able to see it again, because it will never be performed again and how much James might also enjoy it we decided to attend the third and final performance of The Voyage tonight.

We checked out Victoria Square upon arrival in Birmingham and decided we had time for a drink. We found The Wellington which is one of the best pubs I've been in the city centre and definitely one to try if you're a real ale fan. Even though there's no quiz machine it is worth a look. Suitably cheered we made our way back to the rapidly filling square to await the performance.

If anything, tonight's variation was better than Friday's. Our position to the centre-left of the square, facing the boat, was superior and the weather was properly dry which meant, we thought, that a few acrobatic moves that were perhaps to dangerous on Friday because of very recent rain could be attempted. Not much to add apart from that. If you missed it, you missed it because it won't be repeated. About 15,000 people did get to see it. Here are some more photos and videos. The photos are ok, the videos less so, but you can at least get an idea and hear some of the excellent music.
