Pah! We are finally allowed to walk around the Dome of the Rock. That famous mosque in the Muslim quarter of Old Jerusalem.

For days, we weren't allowed in for security reasons. I was about to give up on the idea that we were not going to have a close look up at the Dome of the Rock. Naturally I was disappointed. That mosque stood out in Old Jerusalem, making it the most beautiful building there.

That morning when our project team woke up and met for breakfast, Tetsuya, suggest that we try and check the entrance gate today. He thought maybe because today (Sunday) was a holiday for the Jewish and Christian Quarters of Old Jerusalem. He thought maybe security tension would be released a little because the Muslims would be dominating the city that day and chances for bullying, violence or chaos would be reduced to minimum because not many people would be around town, expect for the muslims.

We decided to give it a try and found that many other tourist were there. We were allowed in! I was thrilled.
