Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge

In the mid 1600s, salmon fishermen erected a rope bridge to Carrick-a-Rede island, in order to reach the best places to catch the migrating salmon.
It stands over a 30m above the sea. It's one of Northern Ireland's best-loved attractions, where visitors are drawn to take the rope bridge challenge and enjoy spectacular views. More thumbnails ...
