By now you know the story: "Well, I wanted to leave today blah blah..."

What happened this time is that on the previous day, Laura{s dad had proposed me to go ride his horses and go for an Asado. Finally it got organized differently: I did not see Laura{s dad, but I went to their small house in the countryside, and that was our afternoon activity. And we got invited (with Jessica) to join Laura to the birthday party of one of her friends, so I postponed my departure.

Just a block away from Laura's house, as I was walking, I spotted a strange dog. there are dogs everywhere. But this one was strangely looking like a fox. Indeed a fox it was. In the middle of the city (tere was no traffic though). With dogs all around, minding their own business. More than that, the fox started looking for trouble with a dog puppy. And they started playing together. That would have been enough to make my day, I was encantado as they say here.

We drove to the countryside, where the three brothers Nico, Nando, and Lucas were waiting for us. They were neighbourghs and were taking care of the horses.

Nico had already started the asado. Laura opened the house and we started preparing the salad, while young Nico took care of the meat. Very professionally I must say.
After a while his brothers arrived, they had gone to fetch the horses.

The asado was huge, of course, like every asado. And then we rode a little bit, it was cool: first time on a horse since Mongolia, I just wanted to be back there... I mean back there travelling on horseback, in Mongolia or in the Pampas.

We also took a walk in the pampa, tranquilo, carrying the mate, picking up rocks, trying to spot fossiles even though this was not a good place for it. Nico explained us the medicinal use of herbs. And then we got on a small mound overlooking the pampa, and Nico told me that was a good spot to take your girlfriend starwatching. A real gaucho, I told you.
During all that time, the three brothers each had a digital camera, borrowed from Laura, Jessica, and I, and they produced an intersting number of more or lessa rtistic shots, it was really cool.

In the evening we got late to the birthday party, which was more of a familly thing, and then the girls and Fabian took me to a nightclub, which was quite big.

All along, I just enjoyed just being there living with them and speaking spanish all the time.
