Another week of spanish lessons. After the present, I am moving on to learning the past tenses and start the subjonctive. There are also lots of points of grammar, on hoew to use particular vers, prepositions, etc... I am learning a lot, and it seems to stay in my brain for a while. I am definitely completely lacking vocabulary, but that will come later: I have to read, but I donīt have time now. The long buses journeys to the south and back will hopefully provide the perfect occasion for that though.

I was meant to meet up with my friend Yannick, who works in southern Argentina, and who was transiting in BsAs on wenesday... we messed up our emails for the meeting point, and it sucks. Anyway he flies in an out of BsAs every 4 weeks, so I still have a chance to go have a big steak with him in a month or two.

Sam and Tomo started taking spanish classes too, in my neighbourghood, so we metup a few times at lunch time after the classes. On wenesday we did our homework straight away after lunch, on the terreace of the hostel. That proved good cause then the homework was done, but it ruined the afternoon.

On wenesday evening the plan was to go out with the other spanish students. In total the crew was composed of 3 brits, 2 kiwis, 3 aussies, a swiss, an austrian, and me. I had proposed to take them to Club Eros, an indoor football club that doubles as a bodegon and serves delicious and cheap steaks. But I already talked about this place in another entry.
We neede a meeting point, so decided to gather in a bar on Plaza Serano. One of the school directors told us we could meet at a bar called El Ludico. In the evening, I was the first there, and there was nothing close to a bar El Ludico. The was L'Unico, 6 blocks away... Great!
I donīt know how, but we still managed to grab everypone as they were wandering around the Plaza looking for the bar that did not exist. That was only the start of difficulties, as once in Club Eros, there was no way we were getting a table for 11 people...
Eventually they set up a new table just for us. We ate like pigs and drank like donkeys. I had two biffe de chorizo again...

After that I had planned to go to bed as I really needed to sleep if I wanted to make the best out of my classes. I still took them to the milonga (dancing place) called La Viruta. We were late, so we got in for free, and we stayed there for a good while watching the people dancing Tango. Truly impressive, it is really great to look at, and definitively gives you the urge to do it too. One of our school director (not the one who gave false directions) was there too, and she was a good dancer. But there were others that were truly incredible.

Sleep just seems to get more scarce, the next day in class was hard and I had to go for a nap in the afternoon.
