Andy, a swiss traveller (and a buddhist too), took me and Liv (from Norway) to a Mongolian show. From the outside we were expecting some king of touristic show with traditional costumes. We went in anyway, as we wanted to hear some throat singing.

Once in there, we were very pleased to find very good musicians, who played on traditional Mongolain instruments, but with a modern pinch. The traditional costumes were there, and the dancing was not very very good, but overall the show was worth it.

At one moment a young man enterd the scene alone with his horsehair fiddle, and started throatsinging... truly amazing, and great emotional feelings at listening to this music.
You can hear a recording of his performance in the picture section of this entry. Not very good quality, but still gives a good idea of the performance.

I also tried to take some pictures to show the instruments they were using.

Hi Adrien,

With Marie we try to follow up your trip almost once a week or every day if we have time.
For the moment, the most funny thing is when you lost your transiberian train, but I'm sure you can be better :-)
Your photos become better and more impressive than it was in Russia, I put your photos of your trip on my professional computer and set them as wallpapers and try to change it evry week. It permits to remember that when I'm working, somebody is having good time somewhere in the world!

Schuss!

PS: J'attends des photos de ouf malade.
