So there I was on my last day in Paris.
I met up with Guillaume and Chino, and then Yannick: Had lunch at a bagel restaurant near the Champs Elyses, with lots of things to talk about (like Yannick getting fianced/married).
I did my last shopping (mainly horseriding equipement), and we headed to Marco's place, near Bastille, as he had proposed me to use his appartment for gathering everybody.
On the way back, I retrieved the bike we had lost the previous night
(see previous entry): it wasn't at all, where we thought it was!
Picked up a few beers, went to Marco's, and there they came: Guillaume, Marie, Lionel, Anais and Nico, and eventually Laurence and Sun. After the aperitif, we headed for the famous Cafe des Anges (rue de la Roquette) and had a last Burger des Anges...
Back to the appartment for more talking, and then everybody left to go to bed...
I had booked a taxi for 4:30, as there are no metro this early in the morning... I made him wait 30 more minutes, as I wasn't ready to go...
Then to the airport, a real struggle, as I had been drinking and not sleeping. To make things even better, I had a connecting flight in Copenhagen...
But there I was: travelling! Feeling just like at home...
By the way, Marie, when you will be reading this, you need to send me the pictures from that evening, as it was your camera which was on duty
