Revolving a day back around the world - From
there I will be one day
younger... and if I can't
get used to the idea,
maybe I'll just have to do
it again the other way...

So for those interested, here is the contents of my packs.
You can have a look and compare with my Original packing list at the time of my leaving home.
I got rid of my 70-90 liters backpack in Vietnam: my brothers took it home full of souvenirs. I replaced it with a 10 dollar 45 lites backpack: just great. It prevented me from carrying too much, and cheap as it was, I wouldn't have any second thought when it came to replacing it. Then in Patagonia I got a big sleeping bag, jacket, and hiking shoes, that took the same volume as my pack... so I got myself an old style 70L backpack. I still have my packsafe daypack, which is rather large (for a daypack), and that I use to store my tech stuff, books and guidebook. I also got in Buenos Aires a shoulder bag, to go to classes, and I found it was convenient when visiting places, so I keep it in the big backpack.
I got rid of my GPS, at last, by handing it to my dad. He gave me his old PDA, I bought a foldable keyboard, and that should allow me to avoid spending so much paying time writing in internet cafe. A public garden or a lounge sound like better places for writing, don't they?
I had got down to 10kg for my main pack, and then a bit heavier with the warmer equipment.
