there I will be one day
younger... and if I can't
get used to the idea,
maybe I'll just have to do
it again the other way...

Summary - Preparing the Trip
Entry 6 of 546 | show all | print this entry |
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
I had 6 weeks between the decision to leave and taking the plane. That was short, even being on it full time. What was there to do? Clarify the why to go, and work on the where to go, how to go, with what, with who. So basically how to prepare a RTW trip? For mine, I started by drafting an Itinerary. Then I had to think about the means of transportation I wanted to use, and of course prepare my backpack. During all this preparation I spent a lt of time researching on the internet, so I gathered a few links. There were two more aspects of my trip that need planning: first, my brothers were joining me for one month, so we planned a bit ahead our way through China and Vietnam. Secondly, it took me quite some time to research and prepare for the independant horseriding trip I was planning to do in Mongolia.
