Hard to believe another year has gone by and students are going home for the summer tomorrow. Had the end of the year awards ceremony in the gym this morning and it was a very motivating experience for families, friends and students. In addition to the awards for students, our Spanish teacher, Kristen Donohue prepared two slide shows: one for remembering the late Tori Ribaudo, who died last July after a courageous battle with cancer, and then a slide show full of photos, set to music, that featured the 8th grade students throughout the past school year. Kristen is to be commended for two of the best slide shows I have ever seen.

Fulbright is drawing closer, have to get my clothes and gear together and get packed soon. Need a few items like memory card for the camera, copies of passport, and deciding what clothes to bring. Have not heard from Ola our host or any other Fulbrighters going to Poland. If they are like me, they are probably busy as can be with finals, end of the year activities, and so forth. I look forward to seeing our students off to their summer break. Got our PSSA's initial data (our test data) back yesterday and it was one of our best years ever. Made AYP for the 6th year in a row, and I am very proud of the teachers and staff who made it happen with our students.

Attached is a photo of my school from the website. I hope that we can link up with a school in Poland and try to do some live webinars with a Polish school next year. More updates to follow, stay tuned.
