Left Tokyo this morning after breakfast. I'm actually writing this on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) from Tokyo to Kyoto. A master stroke by Carl for being bothered to bring his laptop. It's also enabled cheap phone calls home via skype (1p per minute - result!)
The bullet train really is a fantastic experience. For £55 we get to travel over 500 Km in less than the time it would take to get from Leeds to London. As it bombs silently along through the Honshu countryside, the over polite staff bow as they enter and leave each carriage. These people really are the nicest bunch I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The same can't be said for the bloody Nigerians though can it Mark? The train has just passed by the most famous image of Japan - Mount Fuji! Unfortunately, due to cloud we couldn't see the top - not the best time of year to see it apparently.
We'll be arriving in Kyoto in 45 minutes so it's time to do the next room draw for the next three night accommodation. To quote Yazz and the plastic population "The only way is up!". For the record - the early promise with Mark's "Robbie Fowler anti-snoring nasal patches" has faded. It was a return to sleeping with a hippo who has a humming bird stuck up its nose last night.

Makeshift Darts Team
Gentlemen,
thought you'd like to kept informed regarding the struggles I have encountered trying to recruit a 4th member for our darts team for tonights 'must win' crunch game away at Coalville Labour Club.
Unfortunately, Twins A & C are Cyprus bound, EFS is working to late and hard and there has been no response from Funks.
Therefore we are left with the Dads of 'Bullseye' and 'Van Marsden' to to make up the numbers!! To win this one would be special!
I will keep you posted!
Safe onward journey
Kaff, remember what you mum said about that waste line!!
