I booked my ticket to Arlington, VA through SATO travel, the PC travel agency. What I learned today: Arlington is "just across the river" from DC. So I AM going to DC after all.

My flight is for Monday, June 26 to whatever airport is around there...

I still find it hard to believe that as traveled as you are you didn't realize that Arlington, VA is in essence a suburb of DC. Arlington National Cemetery, for example, makes perfect sense to be there. Oh well, to each their own maps...
