Filadelfia
 
That night I took an overnight bus ride to Filadelfia, a very small town.  Filadelfia is know for its Mennonite community of foreigners from Russia, mostly of German and Russian descent. 
 
Talk about being in the twilight zone.  I arrive at 5:00 in the morning to a pitch dark horizon.  It was deadly quiet except for the crow of a rooster.  I checked into the Hotel Golodrino, a Psycho type motel.  I paid an extra $7 for the satellite TV considering that there wouldn´t be much to do in Filadelfia.  But being in a religious community I guess I should have known that there were would only be 7 channels, with most of them being religious ones.  What a waste.
 
I ended up sleeping until the afternoon.  The town is nothing but one road along with a few dirt roads.  I wanted to take a tour of neighboring cities but there are no tours and taxi would have been way too expensive.  I decided to get on next bus out of this place to Concepcion!
