8th - 10th July 2008

Well after all that we did decide to go straight on to La Paz rather than Potosi mainly because we felt we were maybe running out of time and wanted to get up to La Paz asap. So we only stayed in Uyuni for 2 nights as we booked the tourist bus with Todo Turismo for the 10th. We stayed in a nice hotel for next to nothing that was run by a really nice couple who found our awful atempts to talk to them in spanish hilarious and just kept laughing at us, all in good humour though lol!

We had a little look around the town which was no where near as bad as people make it out to be, infact I quite liked it. The president of Bolivia was visiting Uyuni on the 10th so the whole town was crazy busy getting ready for his visit, and as you can see from the pics they were all in thier best , traditional clothes it was quite a site.
