Well here we are.
We sold our beautiful restaurant Elements Global Cuisine in Gulfport, Florida on October 27, 2008 to Alex Hambert, whom we think has some innovative ideas and will be adding a French Bakery as well. Our contemporary decor and excellent waterfront location caught his eye and Jose Luis and I decided that the offer was such that it would allow us to take the next step in our life of adventure.
We had wanted to move to Las Vegas for quite some time....where else are Hospitality, Customer Service and Guest Relations the watch words of the day 100% of the time.
So we had the opportunity to do so and took it.
We want to build a home so that my parents can visit whenever they wish and we want to establish ourselves by working for a progressive thinking company, as we expect to be here for a long time.
Jose Luis drove the over 2,300 miles from St. Petersburg safely and I got to enjoy the scenery along the way, which changed almost as much as the gasoline prices. From over $3 in the tampa Bay area, to as little as $1.99 along the Interstate somewhere in Texas. Tango and Cassis hogged the front seat between us, and I think I have a permanent indentation of the door handle in my right hip. What we won't do for our 2 "Schnickelfritzes".

Our first obejective is on finding a house we can call our home. Then we will focus on getting a job/career. There are some incredible hotels, casinos and restaurants in this city and we know that with Jose Luis' extensive Front and Back of the House experience and my languages and Guest/Customer Service we should be able to find a job, a future before the end of the year.
