Mum and Dad dropped me off at the airport in Brissy and a meal, a beer and three movies later I arrived for my three hour stop off at Changi Airport, Singapore. The time flew and before I knew it I was jetting my way to London which consisted of two more meals, a movie and a sleep. The whole trip was surprisingly quick and painless although it was tough keeping my excitement in check. Arriving at 5am I was ecstatically happy to have Katie sneak up and surprise me as I was rummaging through my pack to find something warm to put on. She hastily whisked me off to the underground and we made our way to the Bed and Breakfast. Our short time in London consisted of catching up with each other, a bit of sightseeing and catching up with old friends
Hey my fabulous family and friends! Missing you all! Wow, Pauley is so wizz bang these days, I canīt keep up but I will give it a go! He he!
Well I have spent an amazing eight months travelling around Asia and Europe. Little Katie and Moglet made my time in Asia so special and I will remember it for always! We laughed, chatted, swam, shopped, got stuck in many a monsoonal downpour, mastered the art of fitting three in a double bed, got stranded in random markets and basically had a fabulous time together! The volunteer work we did with the children living with HIV Aids in Cambodia was confronting yet one of the best experiences of my life and something that I was so happy to have shared with my two best friends. Thank you to Jilly who was like our second mum over there!
After a sad farewell to little Katie (boo hoo), Mog and I journeyed through Vietnam onto London town where Kallie and Claire let Moglet and I move in, thank you again! You both rock! We even had our own room which we also shared with the lovely Timbo..needless to say it was the messiest room you have ever seen! He he!
After having fun catching up with Em and Kallie (love you guys!) but being majorly down and out in London, I managed to find work at Guys Hospital doing what I did in Sydney so that enabled me to travel for two months with Kallie through Europe....what a time together! We explored amazing towns, checked out beautiful artwork, met lovely people, ate metres of baguettes and way too much cheese and ended up with an incredible knowledge of European train stations! My little brother came and met us for the Spain leg of the trip which was fantastic! And spending time with my family in France was one of the highlights of my trip, I canīt wait to see them all again soon! We also saw Livvy in Brussels and Madrid so that made my trip even more special!
All in all my time in Asia and Europe has been amazing, I feel as though I am where I am meant to be and I love finding out something special about the world every day! Needless to say seeing Pauley again was just wonderful and I am looking forward to laughing, chatting and exploring our way around South America together! Get me to the beach!
PS As this is the first entry we have done together it is LONG..sorry! The next ones will be more concise! Take care of you all xoxo
