Another city, another tower, another set of generic city views. It's getting a little bit dull now, but the CN tower is the tallest completed free standing structure in the world (for now) and is one of the 7 modern wonders of the world so it had to be done. The Seattle Tower offered more in the way of entertainment with terminals giving city information and reams of info on the construction. There wasn't so much to do in the CN Tower so after having a laugh at the rubbish green screen photos they were trying to sell we headed back down in search of a large screen telly. It took a while but we found an apparently British place and watched Liverpool get beat by Chelsea. As it headed in to extra time it took up most of the day and so we headed back to the hostel to have my ear drums perforated by an idiot who thinks that unfeasibly loud music equals a good atmosphere and fun even if the hostel is fairly empty. After managing to put up with it for aboot an hour I headed to bed with my headache.

Unfortunately I was joined in the room by Fidgetty McJumpalot who had the bunk above me and spent the night shaking the bed so I didn't get too much sleep. He also stank. No exaggeration, the room reeked of his putrid stench, so I opened the window and headed oot for the day hoping he'd be checking oot. The second must see in Toronto, especially for big fans is the Hockey Hall of Fame which contains an unfeasible amount of Hockey memorabilia and facts. It also contained the Stanley Cup which the Flames sadly won't be lifting and an interactive zone where you can try your hand at shooting and in goal against virtual opponents. I'll not be a professional yet, but I managed to score a couple. Mainly because I couldn't aim or lift the puck and it went straight down the middle on the ground through his legs. My goalie skills weren't the best, but I managed to beat the kid who went before me and was happy with that.

After some inspiration from walking through the theatres in the entertainment district where the hostel was, we got tickets for We Will Rock You. It was good, all the Queen songs were belted oot in tune and the story was a satirical one by Ben Elton aboot how music is due to be killed off due to programmes like Pop Idol. Steve was telling me aboot Chart Throb, one of Ben Elton's books which is along the same lines so it seems Ben's got a bee in his bonnet over this. Back to the hostel for another night of being wobbled aboot by Billy Shitstinky. In the morning he asked me aboot how to take a shower. That figures, but it was a bit late to be asking as I was leaving.
