I made it!  More surprising was that my limbs still worked after a full day and night cramped in airplane seats.
It was early morning when I arrived, I got on the airport bus and found out I was carrying illegal tender.  My Auntie Anne gave me a spare tenner she had from when she'd been over to NZ.  Must have been few years ago as the bus driver wasn't keen on taking it.  After finding some acceptable cash, I jumped on.  The bus route stopped right outside the hotel I was staying in, bonus! 
I was way too early to get in a room but I checked in and they let me dump my big bag whilst I went for a wander.  Initial impressions, not that good really!  Ok, so it's a city so chances are it's difficult to appear nice, but this isn't the best city I've seen.  Oh well!
I headed back mid afternoon and managed to stay awake a short while before a very long and comfy sleep.  I was woken at about 10 by room service, I thought I'd managed to get a free breakfast, but unfortunately it was for someone else and it looked like it was heading on my bill so i had to say I'd not ordered it.
