Well wasn't really part of the plan but decided to head to Vegas for the last weekend of the US trip. The lights and noise levels are everything and more you could expect from the entertainment capital of the world. My entertainment was provided by watchin five lads from Athlone go on the rampage. One of the lads, despite strong helpful advice of the blackjack dealer at the table, drunkenly insisted on sticking on eight - and won. I thankfully managed to survive with my travel savings and visa card intact.
