Ended up spending a few more days here than planned to try to fit everything in - You could spend years here on not see the half of it. managed to pack in a fair few of the sights - Met, MOMA and Ellis Island were particular highlights - but it's the sheer energy of the place that will endure in my memory. For citizens with a repution for bein a bit gruff, was amazed at how friendly New Yorkers were. Great sense of humour too - a fair few of the conversations I had involved a sideways look at the election contest.
