Despite having as good a three months as I've ever had, the return to Hannover is a little bit of a let down. It really is a dull uninspiring mid-sized German city. The EXPO 2000 site looked like it was nuked. Even the old haunts we used to frequent back in 2000 are dead. So a bit of a subdued start but that was no harm given the heavy enough couple of days beforehand in Dublin.
