I am still working on Por & Para. I am still struggling with the language. There are so many words I donīt know or canīt remember. I am trying to take my time when talking, but I hate to feel as if I am making people wait for me to get my thoughts across. After class todya we went to San Andres Xecul and Salcaja. There were two churches we visited in San Adnres. One was the oldest church in Central America. The guide on the trip only spoke Spanish and we had to only speak Spanish on the bus and as we walked around. In Salcaja we vistied a home where they weave cloth and also make a drink (aka alcohol) from fruits. We got to taste fruit that had been soaking in the drink and the drink itself. The fruit was very strong even stronger than the drink. After the trip I headed home for, you guessed it, homework, dinner and conversation. I am getting a little better because I stayed up to 10PM talking (I know that is hard for some of you to believe).
