In the moring my tia accompanied me to school to make sure I did not get lost. I am writing all the entries on a single day because today, Wednesday, is the first day I found an Internet Cafe and it is very close to the house. We have gotten finished with our activities around 5 PM and it gets dark around 6 PM. We have been told not to walk around aloneor in pairs, so I have not had much time to look. Classes start at 8 AM and today we were introduced to our teachers. My is called Julio. We will have activities every afternoon. On Saturday we will go to Volcan Chicabal and on Sunday we will visit Chichicastenango. For now I am work ing on Por & Para and conjugating the past tense. After class today we had Salsa lessons. It was a lot of fun and a lot of exercise. I was not very good. There were 8 women in the classs and only 3 men. The evening is taken up with homework, dinner and conversation. I am getting a little better.
