We left the Bed & Breakfast around 9 AM. We arrived in Xela around 4PM. We made one stop along the way to use the restrooms and get water and do a little shopping if we wanted. When we arrived in Xela we had lunch at Pollo Campera which is a fast food restaurant in the US. After lunch we went to the School. At the school we got an introduction and then met our families. MY family consists of a mother, father, 23 year old son, a daughter with two sons, 7 and 10 years old, a nephew who is 20 years old and a girl who is 18 who is staying the week to participate in a bicycling competition. I am the only student and the only person in the house who speaks English. The house is very nice and Ieven have a toilet off of my room. That is a real luxury. I had dinner with my family, of course and rode with them to deliver invitations to a party they are having for the mother{s grandson on Sunday. I had a hard time communicating, but hopefully it will get better over time. I did not stay up late. I was tired from the drive, which took almost 7 hours, and from trying to communicate only in Spanish. I am hoping I start communicating better soon.
