We had a change of plan about going to Delhi.   Even though we were going to be in Delhi for less than 48 hours, we needed an Indian tourist visa. We didn't have one and couldn't get one, so we stayed another night in Kathmandu instead.  Then we had a very, very long wait in the tranist lounge in New Delhi airport before flying to Heathrow.  We were a bit disappointed not to go to the Taj Mahal, but it would have been a very expensive week-end for us and with reality just round the corner, we need the cash!
