We caught an early flight out of Sao Paulo and headed for Natal, North East Brazil.  The plan is then to bus it back down to Rio in the next few weeks, before flying to Chile.

We booked the accommodation for our two day break in Natal with the flight company and was sold a hotel with a luxe room and sea view apparently!!  We were expecting and looking forward to a slightly higher standard than the hostels we´ve become accustomed to, but when we arrived what can only be described as lots of ants were already living in our bed.  See photo for sea view... Apart from this the hotel was competitive for the price!!

We enjoyed a few very hot days on a deserted beach, with beautiful clear warm water and strong waves which were good fun. 

Sorry for more views but we´re both a bit camera shy with faces for radio!!!
