We find ourselves 15kms from Perth city centre in a nice campsite. We weren`t expecting to much from here "just another city", but we are well suprised. Perth is a really clean, beautiful city with plenty to see and do. And alot of things you could blow your wages on if you lived here. We do the city walking tour which takes us 3hrs and get our flight to New Zealand sorted. After a stroll down to the lake we climb Jacobs ladder, 100 or so steps that lead up to Cliff Street and the entrance to Kings Park. From up here there are some amazing views of the city.

We give Pete (our China travel buddy) a call as he`s in Mandurah looking for a job while he stays with some relatives and meet up to swap stories over a nice cold beer.

This is the first campsite we have stayed at where there aren't water restrictions so we give Pammy a well deserved bath. We had to wash her in Sunsilk shampoo because we had no washing up liquid and she looks great minus all the red dust.
