Nullarbor Part 2

After the days rest in Ceduna we hit the road at 7am, this is the big day. The Nullarbor Highway - watch out for kangaroos, wombats and camels. Its so dry and barren even camels live here - so they say anyway we didn't see any.
Its hot and sweaty but we push ourselves and Pammy across the border and into Western Australia where nearly immediately we are pulled over by the police....Random breath test and licence check (the difference! over in South Australia everyone seems to be drinking and driving)- Lin gets a zero on the breath test and on we go another 340kms till we have to stop because its just too damn hot.
We pitch the tent beside a roadhouse with all the amenities we need, which unfortunately included about a million flies (which are persistant little buggers over here) and a few cockroaches too. The wind picked up that night and we woke up covered in red dust....lovely. This is our first taste of the Outback and believe us its hard work (still beats being at home working though).
