We arrive in Krabi (18 hours later) at lunchtime and head straight to the beach, a few hours relaxing on Ao Nang beach and we are well relaxed.  Back to the room for a shower and then bang our bank rings to ask if we are using our credit cards alot in Bangkok at the moment!!! No they've been stolen from a safe in a guesthouse in Bangkok and we didn't notice. The tourist police in Krabi said we would have to go back to Bangkok to get anything done.
So this led to a flight back to Bangkok and a day spent with the Tourist Police trying to track whoever took them. We had info from the bank on when and where the card was used - he bought 800 euros worth of whiskey - we both laughed when we heard that. After viewing CCTV footage in Tesco, of all places, we didn't recognise him from the guesthouse so all we could do was file a report and try to get back to the beach ASAP.
First flight out was 8pm to Phuket - not perfect but would do fine.  So 12 hours after arriving in Bangkok airport we flew back out. Have to say the Tourist Police were amazing - they caught the guy a week later - don't even want to know what they're doing to him now! Krabi seemed like a nice place during the short time we were there.
